Corydoras are among the most endearing and popular bottom-dwelling fish in the hobby. These small armored catfish are social creatures that should always be kept in groups of six or more, where they display charming synchronized swimming and foraging behavior. Over 160 species are known, with many popular varieties including C. panda, C. sterbai, and C. paleatus.
