Rummy nose tetras losing red color?

My rummy nose tetras had bright red noses when I got them 2 weeks ago, but now the color seems faded. Water params: pH 6.8, NH3 0, NO2 0, NO3 15ppm, temp 25°C. They are eating and swimming normally. Any ideas what could cause the color loss?
